Dear Gianfranco, We have just arrived back from another wonderful holiday at the Aminta, our 7th stay since our first time in 2002. I don’t know how you manage it but each holiday somehow exceeds our expectations and surpasses the previous one. I don’t think the 2 weeks we spent in 2006 when we got married can ever be beaten for obvious reasons but the happiness at arriving and the sadness at leaving increases with every year. When we last stayed Thomas was only 1 ½ years old and he can’t remember anything about it but at the age of 4 I’m sure he will retain some longer lasting memories. He absolutely loved his holiday, he was made to feel so special by all your staff and made some good friends around the pool, including your gorgeous son, Marco. Thomas was so upset to be leaving, he cried and cried saying he didn’t want to leave. We managed to calm him down by promising that we would do our best to come back soon and at his request, stay for 100 weeks! Both Thomas and Scott were given so much attention by the bar staff, Senior Michel and his staff in the dining room, the staff on reception and also your own family it’s no wonder they didn’t want to go home.......they had the most fantastic time. Who needs a kids club when they are entertained so regularly and taken such good care of??! I have said this before but never have we gone anywhere on holiday where we have been made to feel so welcome and have been looked after so well. Everyone who works at the Aminta, whether they are old faces or new, were so genuinely caring and committed to making our stay as special as possible which is why when we holiday outside the UK we always come back to the Aminta. Both Lynn and I have occasionally talked about going somewhere different but we never follow it through. Why would we when we know we will never have a better holiday anywhere else? We love the fact that as soon as we arrive we are welcomed back like old friends and we immediately feel settled, allowing us to start enjoying our holiday from the very first minute. We know what to expect at the Aminta, a beautiful, top class hotel with wonderful staff who make us feel like part of the Aminta family. Having holidayed in Sorrento both as a couple and with our families and kids we can honestly say that there is something for everyone. Sorrento is a wonderful place and you can do and see so much while staying there. We have visited some of the most historic and beautiful places in the world over the years with Sorrento as our base but if you want a relaxing holiday I can’t think of a better location than at the Aminta. With it being quite high up out of the centre, the views of Sorrento, the Bay of Naples, Vesuvius, Capri & Ischia are stunning. Even after all this time I find the views from the balcony and terraces as breath taking as the first time. The courtesy buses in and out of Sorrento from the hotel are more regular than they used to be which is great as we were able to nip down at almost any time during the day and evening. The walk down into Sorrento is also highly recommended as again, the views are amazing and I would strongly urge anyone staying at the Aminta for an evening meal to dine outside, taking in the views while you eat. On the subject of eating, of which I did plenty judging by the scales on my return home (!), I cannot fault the food either at breakfast, lunch or dinner. The choice of food available at breakfast time is enormous with both cooked and cold options. When we had room for lunch we usually chose one of the mouth watering pasta dishes or one of the delicious parma ham/melon/buffalo mozzarella/tomato options. My compliments must go to the chef for the evening meals which were always varied, beautifully presented and very tasty. There was only ever food left on our plates when we literally couldn’t eat any more! And as for the desserts........yum! Thomas is certainly missing those back home! The only downside to staying at the Aminta is that we have to go home eventually........we only wish we could have stayed longer! Hopefully we will be able to next time but in the meantime we have our photos, camcorder footage and most importantly lots of fond memories of another truly wonderful holiday to keep us going. It is now over a week since we finished our holiday at your hotel and we thought we ought to contact you and thank you for an excellent holiday. Everything about our stay was first class and we must compliment ALL the staff on their politeness and endeavours to make our stay such a memorable one. We came to Hotel Aminta 3 years ago and had a really lovely holiday. The rooms, food, staff and views were all great and we went on some great trips including Pompeii and Capri. We are now looking forward to coming back to the hotel in August - can't wait!

We felt that we had to write and tell you what a lovely time we had last week at your hotel. All your staff are wonderfull and i am sorry that i forget to fill in your feedback form telling you this.The grand hotel aminta is a perfect compiment to lovely sorrento,and we made good friends with the couple that we were seated with on the first evening. My wife and I had a fantastic holiday in beautiful Sorrento whilst staying at your beautiful hotel to mark the occasion of our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We are both very much looking forward to coming back this August to once more enjoy your hospitality. This time we will be celebrating our 30th Anniversary and can't think of a nicer place to do so
