The Hotel Aminta in Sorrento organizes excursions and guided tours in Sorrento
The following excursions are available from April to October.
Sorrento, land of the sirens, of terraces of orange and lemon trees, a place of spectacular beaty... it is also a town of fascinating history and art. We will introduce you to some of the most important and interesting cultural and artistic characteristics of Sorrento. Visit the Correale Museum with its fine art collections and the "Villa Fiorentino" (our new archaeological museum). Discover some of the most important churches and step back into the past exploring the narrow alleys where the Greek and Roman town began. This excursion is a half-day walking tour escorted by a local guide. Included in the price are all entrance fees and sweet surprise... a local cake made with Sorrento lemons and a cappuccino (or a soft drink).
The Tasso Theatre stages a Musical, lasting 75 minutes, which reconstructs our cultural roots through song and dance. Rich scenery changes throughout the show create an atmosphere of colour and merriment . At 20.30 you'll be met in the foyer of the theatre and be offered a welcome drink. Once inside there will be an orchestra playing dance music until 21.30, when the show begins. After the show, the audience will be invited to continue dancing, amidst the scenery of the musical.
