I really need to say a public Thank You to all the staff at the Aminta, particularly the front desk staff. My daughter and I were coming to the end of a great week with you when the Icelandic volcano erupted, leaving us unable to get home, and you were so helpful, understanding and kind to us during our enforced extra week stay. I cannot thank you enough for the calm way you attended to our problems. All the staff at the Aminta are superb - friendly, respectful, and professional. I will always be grateful for the help we were given and will definitely recommend the Aminta to anyone intending to visit Sorrento in the future. Thank you again.

Our stay at the hotel was fantastic. The views from the hotel are superb and we found it hard to leave. All the staff were so helpful and friendly and the shuttle bus was very useful to save walking back up the hill! We definately want to return. Thank you all so much!

Good morning from London

I have just returned from a week's stay at the Grand Hotel Aminta with a friend, N.Epstein, and I am writing to say thank you for such a wonderful week. The hotel staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, the location is excellent with its fantastic views over the bay, and the food was really delicious. Thank you to all the waiting staff in the restaurant.

I would particularly like to thank Victoria and Gennaro at Reception for all the help they gave me in getting a report from the 'carabinieri' regarding my glasses that were lost/stolen in Amalfi. Thank you so much for writing the report in Italian for me, Victoria.

I will definitely be recommending your hotel to friends and family, and hope to return some time in the future.

My wife and I would just like to take a minute and say thank you to all the staff at your hotel for the wonderful time that we had there during the past 12 days. The service, and caring attitude of all your staff was completely outstanding; from the ladies at the front desk, the maids that took care of our room, waiters in the dining room, and bartenders in the lounge; you made us feel like FAMILY.

You made our stay there one of the most memorable that we've every had in all of our travels through out the world or in the United States. Again, thank you and we hope to someday return for another wonderful stay.

Thank you for making my vacation relaxing and for being so accommodating. Every year I consider trying a new vacation spot but why mess with perfection. The food is great and the barman is not just friendly but makes the best drinks!

- un ottimo servizio di bus navetta dall'albergo al centro di Sorrento
- una più che buona cucina da gustare con ricchi buffet al mattino che vanno dal salato al dolce
- un ottima pulizia delle camere
- un personale gentile, cordiale e pronto ad aiutarvi nell'organizzazione delle vostre escursioni.

Grand Hotel Aminta

Dear Lella and Vittoria:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff, from me and my husband, for your hospitality and wonderful accommodations at the Hotel Aminta. We had a wonderful unforgettable time. Everyone at the hotel was pleasant, including all of the waiters, namely, Felice, and Antonio, Tony & Fernando at the bar. The dining room was perfect, and the food was delicioso. Sorrento is beautiful and all of our tours were simply amazing. This was our second trip to Italy. Last time we went to Rome, Venice and Florence. I hope to God we can come back again, but if we don’t, I won’t feel bad. This trip is unforgettable, especially, that we went with our family. It was very special. I celebrated my birthday there, and my brother Robert and Mary celebrated their 45th anniversary while we were there. Once again, thank you for a wonderful time.

To all who made our vacation most satisfying. Your lovely staff, Lella, Victoria, MariLisa, Genaro, Fernando, all the waiters in the dining room and I know I left our a few, but want to thank you for our visit to Sorrento, it was our best trip and it was a vacation we will never forget, and my wife and I would like to repeat it sometime in the future.

I did want to say that we came back to the hotel late Monday night and felt very bad that we didn’t have time to say goodbye to Fernando, he was someone special along with Tony. Tell Fernando we enjoyed him and the olives he put out for us. What a wonderful person he is. And we told Claudio we would see him before we left. If you can give him this message and send us his email I will get in touch with him. His music and singing also made this trip very special and memorable. Please get back to me.

Buona sera Aminta!

We stayed with you for two weeks from the 4th to 18th September and enjoyed our stay very much. Your hospitality and faultless service was much appreciated by us all. Out thanks to all those staff members that we saw frequently and to those who helped to make our stay good but were never seen.

Particular thanks to the desk staff who smoothed the way for our adventures and to the restaurant staff for their superb service, conversation and humour. (Please say a particular thank you to Michael for us).
