Net terug van onze vakantie in Sorrento. Een adembenemende streek.
Hotel Aminta was voor ons uitstekend meegevallen. Een rustige ligging met een uitstekend team dat zeer vriendelijk is tegen de mensen. Aan de receptie zijn ze zeer hulpvaardig zowel ook in het Frans als in het Engels. Er was een gratis bus naar Sorrento wat zeker een pluspunt is. Het was overal kraaknet en de kamers in villa Aminta vielen zeer goed mee.
Het zwembad was zeer goed onderhouden door de vriendelijke Luigi. Het avondmaal met keuzemenu was piekfijn verzorgd door een zeer vriendelijk kok die elke avond kwam zwaaien naar ons dochtertje. Niet te vergeten is ook het prachtige zicht vanuit het hotel op de baai, op Sorrento en op de Vesuvius waar je uren kan naar kijken vanuit de salons aan de bar.
Bedankt voor de fijne vakantie en we komen nog eens terug.

I arrived back in the UK 2 days ago and I'm already planning my next trip to Italy and will definately stay in the Aminta. I cannot Fault a single thing! The views are spectacular! We were staying with a group as our friends were married on Friday, It was a fantastc wedding day and topped off by coming back to the Hotel and drinking and dancing till the early hours. Your Staff are so helpful and friendly a real asset to the hotel. I have already reccomended you to other friends and I am hoping to come back in Oct for my Birthday, so I hope to see you all then. Many Thanks for a fantastic stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Aminta. The hotel is of a high standard. It is clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and highly professional. We would love to come back again and would reccommend the Aminta to others.

Dear all at the Aminta,we just got back on monday night after a fantastic 10 days at the hotel. The hotel really made our holiday. Michele had the resteraunt to a very high standard and thank you to young Pasquale he was ottimo with his charming smile and sense of humour,well done to the rest of the staff for being so friendly. The bar staff were busy keeping on top of my southern comfort and the odd cocktail.
It was our first time at the hotel and certenly will not be our last and will be recommending it to all our friends. We are just sorry it went past so quickly and in such a beautiful area. As for the shuttle bus- Ottimo!! ..all we can say what a fantastic bunch of staff who work very hard and a gorgeous hotel...sorry to be back in inverness scotland....see you all again

Dear all the staff, and owners of this beautiful hotel, I was there last month for my summer holiday, and i was so happy with the service, the surroundings, the food absolutly everything.. i will definatly be back, i am already looking for flights for my next break... i will most surely recommend grand Hotel Aminta to everyone i know.. truly amazing...

To All at the Aminta.

Apologies for taking so long to write in your guest book, but the last 2 months have been a little busy.

My Husband Michael and I came to stay at your hotel in June this year (1st - 9th) for our Honeymoon..

It was the amazing photo's of the pool and the staircase on your website that swung our decision to stay with you.... and we're so glad we did..

The weather unfortunately wasn't great during our stay, but the service more than made up for that.. Your staff just couldn't do enough for us.. SO friendly!!

The shuttle bus was excellent, ALWAYS on time.. The food was excellent, and the entertainment in the evenings was brilliant.

The 9 days we were with you, seemed to fly by.. We will most definitely be back for an anniversary.

Dear Gianfranco and all at the Aminta

It's a couple of weeks since we returned from our latest visit and we wanted to say thank you to you and to everyone at the Aminta for making our holiday so enjoyable.

You gave us a lovely welcome when we arrived and we went on to spend a relaxing and pampered ten days with you. The room was great and the wine that was waiting for us was much appreciated. Everything was as perfect as always and the excellent service and food in the restaurant was a delight! (There was a funny episode when Dave forgot to wear long trousers for dinner and wore shorts and was very politely and discreetly reminded by Michele so he had to go back and change) - that really made us laugh after the amount of times we have been visiting you - as neither of us had realised at the time - too much of that wonderful sun obviously! The restaurant, as always under Michele's professional direction, ran like clockwork.

As always, we felt like we had left friends behind when we came home and we are already looking forward to coming back again and seeing you all again next year.

Thank you for a wonderful holiday at the Aminta, it was my first time but will definitely not be my last. The excellent facilities combined with the professional and friendly staff made our stay very special, although asking my partner to marry me whilst dining on the terrace made it extra special for both of us and will always be in our memories. Hi Gianfranco

Another amazing stay but for once we have a complaint to make. We had booked for 6 nights but it felt like we were only there for a few days – it went so fast.

Lella, Victoria, Marilissa and Genarro and the others in reception are like everyone else in the hotel a credit to you. They could not be more helpful or friendly if they tried.

We enjoyed the bar as usual and the service was great with Angelo, Tony and Meemo – well until Spain beat Italy – but even then the smiles were back in an instant and it was service as usual and Sorrento was lit up by fireworks as if Italy had won.

The restaurant will always be a highlight for us with Michele orchestrating the running of the place and all the familiar faces such as Felice (sorry bad spelling) Peter (Pietro) Liberato, Pasquale to name but a few and the food was delicious with a varied menu. We dined on the terrace twice which was nice and a first for us

The weather was hot hot hot, and the walk back up from Town took a little longer than usual !

The new taller wall around the pool area is great and looks like it’s always been there. Luigi does a great job with the sun bed reservations and it looks so perfect at the start and end of the day.

Our rooms were great and comfortable as ever.

Pick up from the airport was courtesy of Alfredo and the journey took much longer than normal due to the locals clogging up the roads all heading to the coast for their weekend. But Alfredo tried some short cuts to get through the traffic and even stopped to buy some bread sticks for us as it was lunch time. What a nice guy – as was the driver who took us back, as he took us via the hills through Sant Agata and stopped to show us some views we had not seen before.

Thanks so much for making our little break fantastic. Love to you and the family and to your wife (name please) who always talks with us and makes sure everything is just right. She convinced us one day to eat inside at lunchtime as I think she could tell that we were beginning to melt !

Stay well and don’t work too hard.
See you next when we say Buon Natale ! and fingers crossed the sun will still be shining

We spent four wonderful days at Aminta hotel in June of this year. The hotel is beautiful and very relaxing.
We did the Amalfi coast tour drive that was recommended by the hotel and it was fabulous!
We want to thank everyone there for making our stay so wonderful.

Thank you once more for our wonderful holiday at the Aminta. You know just how much I love spending time with you all as I miss you so much now I am at home.

Thanks for Michele for the lovely variety of menus especially for looking after Arturo and for his kindness and friendship.

Again Grazie Mille to all the staff, always so courteous and helpful. For me, the Aminta has a special place in my heart, my second home.

I am looking at flights later this year (maybe?) to see if we can get a reasonable price!

It is now a week since we returned from our holiday in Sorrento and our enjoyable stay at the Grand Hotel Aminta.

Although I did complete your form and leave a 'thank you' card, may I once again say what a lovely time we had during our stay at the 'Aminta'. The hotel and staff were really really special, so friendly and helpful and the hotel was wonderful.

We spent our 25th wedding anniversary at the Aminta in Sept. 2004 and we loved it in every way. The staff were second to none friendly efficient and helpful. The food was varied and cooked to a high standard, the rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean and the views from the hotel were fantastic. We will be returning again
