We couldn't have asked for better service from yourself and your team at the hotel. Everyone was so nice, courteous and helpful - on reception, hall porter, at the bar, in the restaurant, the chambermaids, the bus driver, even the maintenance man. We were made to feel most welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We selected your hotel because of your web page - we looked at every web page for every hotel in and around Sorrento. Yours was the most appealing by far. Also the photo of your dining room caught our eye as we felt it looked most attractive. We must commend you on the attention to detail in the decor of the public spaces and the general high standard that is set in the day to day running of the hotel. Particularly in the dining room, everything is run precisely right. My daughter (aged 9) was most impressed with the teasing attention she received from the bar and restaurant staff. My hyperactive son (aged just 4) was reduced to silence by the stream of videos provided for him in the TV room on rainy day mornings. Thank you, too, for remembering my husband's birthday on Saturday night. The cake and wine were a lovely surprise for him and I was most impressed that you had remembered this small detail from so many months ago. Please, if you can, pass on our thanks to everyone - we really noticed all the little things that made us realise we had made the right choice in coming to stay with you at the Grand Hotel Aminta. I run a bed & breakfast business at our large family home in Surrey (very close to London Gatwick Airport) and we have somewhere in the region of 2500 guests who are going on holiday from Gatwick stay with us every year. October 12, 2002 We have just finished two fantastic weeks in the Aminta, the food was mouth watering the views spectacular and the local walks enjoyable. The hotel staff should be commended for there courtesy and helpful attitude towards us. particularly we would like to mention our thanks to Pietro and Tony, for making us smile. Although rather late, I would just like to say that as my first stay in Sorrento, I had a fantastic two weeks at the beginning of July. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with you, he staff were are very friendly, especially the restaurant staff, with a special thank you to the waiters who served us every evening. I am lucky enough to speak Italian, and had no difficult with any of the staff, I am hoping to return to the hotel the first week in July next year. Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to you on behalf of my partner, Lynn and myself with regards to our recent stay at your hotel. We came to Sorrento for our first time on Friday, 9th August and were taken aback by the beauty of the bay of Naples as we travelled from Naples airport, along the coast line until we reached Sorrento itself. As we travelled further out of Sorrento and up the winding hill towards the Aminta we realised that we had made the right decision in staying at your hotel as the view became more and more beautiful the higher we climbed. On arrival we were greeted by friendly hotel staff who kindly arranged for our luggage to be brought up to the hotel room whilst we checked in. First impressions were very good as the lady on reception was very pleasant and told us that she had a very nice room for us. We were absolutely thrilled when we opened the door to our room to find a tastefully decorated and stylish room with a breath taking view from our balcony, overlooking Sorrento and the Bay of Naples. From that point we knew we were going to have a fantastic holiday and we were not to be disappointed. We would both like to thank you and all your staff from the receptionists through to the restaurant staff and the Aminta Bus drivers for making this the most wonderful, unforgettable holiday. We were very sad to leave but on arriving back in England we have booked next year's holiday and are pleased to say that we are coming back to stay at the Aminta, only this time for 11 nights rather than the 7 we had this year and we can not wait ! We will be travelling with Thompson and will be arriving on Monday 30th June 2003 and if there is any way we could possibly have the same room we would be eternally grateful.
